In 2023, I worked with the MultiChoice Group and hashtag#MzansiMagic to help promote and position hashtag#ShakaiLembe.
It was a remarkable project. Here are the Top 3 things that I think worked for the comms outreach.
1. Creating a lexicon of words, a vocabulary of intent. Ours spanned royalty + identity + constancy + genre.
2. Highlighting three key areas: scale + story + skill. Together these three pillars covered all PR efforts.
3. Balancing emotion and vision with fact and direction. Focus too much on one, and the comms becomes either too poetic or too prosaic.
